The Annual Missy Barrett Stamp and Sticker Search takes place during the first two weeks of May.
Official stamp and sticker locations throughout Sevierville and Pigeon Forge wait patiently for scavengers of all ages to bring their copy of the latest Missy Barrett mystery novel to collects stamps and stickers. Those stamps and stickers are exchanged during the third week of May for draw tickets for chances to win awesome draw prizes.
The book for the 2023 edition of the Annual Missy Barrett Stamp and Sticker Search was The Case of the Hollow Hawk and featured a number of businesses in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
Grandma and Grandpa Barrett enlist Missy’s help to clear out the attic at their house. As the three of them set about digging through boxes and uncovering long-forgotten items stored in the attic, the chore turns into a mystery when Missy finds a beautifully carved wooden hawk hidden away in one of the boxes.
On closer inspection, the hawk reveals a secret compartment with a clue waiting to be found and solved. Missy knows the best way to crack the case is to reach out to people she knows who can help.
It’s not easy unravelling a mystery when you’re a nine-year-old undercover private eye supersleuth detective but with a keen eye for details and a lot of hard work, sometimes the reward is more than any child could anticipate.
