#NightBeforeXmas

A SPECIAL MESSAGE
HRH Prince Alexander of the Princedom of Moorland

Whether it’s a one-parent or a two-parent family, when a child has to go to the Emergency Room at the hospital on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day or Boxing Day, it’s hard on everyone in the family.  That’s why Missy Barrett created the “Missy Barrett and Friends’ Night Before Christmas” project in 2019.  This is the third year Missy Barrett and her Friends have come together on this project.

The idea was first mentioned in the Missy Barrett story “Bats’n’Cats: A Missy Barrett Hallowe’en Story” published in October 2018.  In 2019, fictional 9-year-old Missy Barrett and her real life friends made this idea a reality for injured or sick children brought to LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville (TN) on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or Boxing Day.

Once again, Missy Barrett and friends are putting together 32 small tote bags for Christmas 2021 with needed items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, airline size pillows, small blankets, water bottles, and fun items such as coloring books, crayons, puzzles, and more.

Missy Barrett’s friends (when you click on their names, you go to their websites) participating in filling these small tote bags in 2021 are:
