Welcome To The Official Missy Barrett Website
Missy Barrett is a fictional 9-year-old child who lives in real life Sevierville (TN) with her mother, Jenna, and her big brothers, Aaron and Josh and the family cats, Oreo Speedwagon and Sali Dali Cat. Grandma and Grandpa Barrett live here as well as Grandma and Grandpa Two Rivers.
When she grows up, she’s going to be a undercover private eye supersleuth detective, but until then she’s just a kid — a kid who loves mysteries and loves helping people in her community and around the world and loves being Missy Barrett.
On August 30th, Missy Barrett encourages people to be involved in celebrating International Missy Barrett Day: A Day To Do Good Deeds by doing good deeds — no matter how big or how small — to make their community a kinder and nicer place for everyone. Every year, more counties, cities, and town in Tennessee as well as more micronations from around the world recognize this date where they are.
Every December, Missy Barrett and her real life friends come together for the Missy Barrett and Friends’ Night Before Christmas project to fill tote bags for sick or injured kids 12 years old and younger who find themselves at the local hospital ER on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
The first two weeks of May every year are always a fun time with the Missy Barrett Stamp and Sticker Search. Participants purchase the latest Missy Barrett mystery chapter book and visit official stamp and sticker locations to collect stamps and stickers for chances to win one of the many great prizes up for grabs. A portion of the profits from these book sales are donated to a non-profit business in the community.
Missy Barrett loves putting her great ideas into practice, and like she says, “Inspiration is like fireworks in your soul.”
